05/24/21 UPDATE: HERE'S SOMETHING DIFFERENT! We recently received a handful of these shirts, some of which (but not all) have a small name-drop/sleeve print from a national landmark in California. No big deal...we get shirts like this all the time. However, ALL of these had a minor registration error. These came with a note reading, "For your Bargain Bin." Since our Bargain Bin has been shut down since March of 2020, we are offering these on here at the same price as we would in our Museum Shop...except that we had to add postage. So, what is a registration error? When multiple screens are used to print multiple color designs, they BETTER all line-up perfectly or the final print-job is going to look BAD...or can make you think you are suffering from a bad case of double vision. USUALLY! We looked these over and found...NOTHING...well, at first. It did take us a few moments. Before you read the next part, look at the LAST PHOTO. Now look again. Closer. Closer still. So far, so good, right? Now, look to the bottom...to the polished Opal. THERE'S the problem...it appears that there is a sort of ghost image along the top edge, where one of the green-colored screens slipped slightly in the printing process, and they all look pretty much the same. Did you find this on your own? Do you care? If you do care, we have plenty WITHOUT this error. If this is so minor that you don't care, but you DO like saving a few $$, then choose the ones labeled "Print error" in the drop-down size menu. No one has noticed this on MY shirt when I wear it and when I do point it out, most still don't see it as an issue...BUT WE DO, so we will ONLY offer these at a discounted price. THIS SHIRT DOES NOT GLOW IN THE DARK! It doesn't need to. You don't even need a UV/black light to enjoy the brilliant colors of these magnificent examples like you do with certain fluorescent specimens in some mineral collections. This design just glows from the brilliance and radiance from this assortment of precious and semi-precious Gems.
