Without question, this is one of our classic, all-time best-selling Night Sky T-shirts. This Glow-in-the-Dark, double-sided star field design features the summer constellations on the front, and the stars of the winter sky on the back. While the constellations are properly drawn, we must call them "stylized" versions since, as pictured in close-ups above, instead of Cygnus, Lyra, Hercules, Orion, or Taurus, the constellations on the shirt are identified as Swan, Harp, Strongman, Hunter, and Bull. It does become a little dicey if you happen to notice (on the back) that there is "Poop" below "Great Dog" but even this is accurate as, located below Canis Major in the sky, the proper, modern constellation of Puppis refers to the Stern or Poop Deck (yes, an actual nautical term) of the historical constellation of Argo Navis, the ship of Jason and the Argonauts. That constellation proved to be too large and was subdivided in 1752 into the 3 modern constellations of Puppis (The Stern), Carina (The Keel) and Vela (The Sail). Of course, the printer was having a bit of fun on this one but it just goes to show, you CAN learn something new and cool from an eBay listing!
